About Hilary
I am a very enthusiastic linguist having fallen in love with learning languages through a trip to Paris with the school. I studied French and Italian at University and took up Spanish in my 20s. I spent time in Colombia, am married to a Colombian and my two children are brought up in a bilingual household. I have worked in the same school in Brighton and Hove for the last 13 years after teaching in South London schools for 10 years.

Hello my name is Hilary I have over 20 years' experience of teaching Spanish and French at GCSE and A level. I can offer exam coaching towards improving exam grades, tutor adults who want to learn a language or teach young learners a language. I make learning interactive and fun ensuring we focus on memory techniques and using authentic materials, games and also learning key grammar.
