About Henriett

Hi, I’m Heni. I am a qualified English teacher with over 25 years of experience. I help learners pass English exams and move forward in work, study, and life.

I specialise in Functional Skills, IELTS/SELT, GCSE English, and English for jobseekers. Whether you’ve failed before, feel stuck, or haven’t studied in years – I can help you build real confidence, set clear goals, and achieve lasting results.

My journey began as a language learner myself, so I understand how frustrating and overwhelming the process can feel. That’s why I created a step-by-step method that’s helped over 1,000 adults pass English exams — many after struggling for years elsewhere. My lessons are practical, structured, and 100% exam-focused. No fluff. Just what works.

I’ve taught at universities, colleges, and in community and prison education. I hold a CELTA, MA in Education, and SEND qualifications, and I’ve worked with learners from all backgrounds — including migrants, jobseekers, returners to education, and second-chance students.

I teach people how to pass — even if they’ve failed before
I bring structure, clarity, and motivation to every session
I support learners online

If you’re serious about passing your exam and moving forward in life, book a session with me. Let’s get results — together.

About the lesson

My lessons are clear, practical, and designed for learners who want to make real progress with their English. Whether you're preparing for an IELTS, SELT, Functional Skills, or GCSE English exam, every session is focused on what matters: building confidence, understanding what the exam requires, and helping you pass — even if you’ve struggled before.

You won’t find random grammar drills or textbook overload here. Instead, we’ll work through a step-by-step method tailored to your goals, your pace, and your learning style. You'll get clear explanations, real exam practice, and expert feedback to help you improve each week.

Lessons are fully personalised and may include:

Exam strategies that actually work
Speaking and writing practice with feedback
Reading and listening skills built around real exam questions
Support with spelling, grammar, and sentence structure
Progress tracking and mock exam preparation
Motivation and mindset support if you're feeling stuck or anxious

My lessons are structured, supportive, and results-driven.

This isn’t just English. It’s about giving you the skills — and confidence — to move forward in your life, your work, and your future.
