About Mark

I am a TEFL qualified English teacher with 18 years of experience who specialize in improving conversational skills. Although my professional background is prior to my teaching activity in engineering (Bachelor's degree and five years of professional experience), in the 18 years of my teaching activity in Germany I have worked with thousands of often very different people from all professional groups and at all ages from 12 to 80 years . Through this experience I have gained a lot of knowledge about the typical challenges that German speakers face in school or in professional life.

About the lesson

A typical one-hour class consists of 45-50 minutes of conversation focusing on the student's specific needs, followed by 10-15 minutes of feedback on vocabulary, grammar, and accent. Together we will identify the most important language weaknesses and find ways to overcome them.
