I am a qualified secondary teacher with a Master of Secondary Teaching from Griffith University and experience teaching Chinese and Business to students of different ages.
I am patient, organized and supportive, and I always adapt my teaching to suit each student’s needs and learning goals. I aim to create a comfortable and professional learning environment where students can build confidence and make steady progress.

My name is Jiayi Liu, and I am a qualified teacher with a Master of Secondary Teaching from Griffith University, specialising in Chinese language education and Business Management. I have teaching experience in Australian secondary schools through placements. I have also taught Chinese to young children in a community language school, giving me experience working with students across different age groups.
My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive and practical. I adjust each lesson according to the student's age, current level, learning goals and confidence. I use clear explanations, examples, repetition, questioning and interactive activities to help students understand and remember.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes, although the length and lesson structure can be adjusted depending on the student's age and learning needs. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, beginners learning Chinese or Business for the first time.
