About Declan
Having completed CIE A Levels in Auckland I moved to Wellington to complete a BCom majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law. In 2021 I started as a graduate at a Big Four firm in Wellington, focusing on financial accounting and reporting. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and remain in my current role. While mainly focusing on financial accounting and reporting I have broad experience with management accounting and tax.

While at high school I assisted with NCEA and CIE accounting tutoring. In my current role I have further refined my skillset through helping junior team members.
My approach to teaching is based on developing an understanding of how you learn and tailoring my style to suit.
From my role I have a strong background in financial accounting, however through my BCom and Chartered Accountancy studies have developed a broad knowledge base.
