About Kimberly
As a qualified Career Coach and Counselor with over 15 years of experience in education, youth work, and community services, I bring both professionalism and passion to every session. I currently support students in schools while also providing personalized coaching to young people and adults who want direction, confidence, and clarity in their career pathways. My background includes a Diploma of Counseling and a Diploma of Youth Work, along with extensive hands-on experience helping high school students, school leavers, and professionals successfully plan their futures. Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of individuals in resume writing, interview preparation, subject selection, pathways into apprenticeships and traineeships, and career transitions. Students can expect sessions that are structured yet flexible, always tailored to your personal goals and strengths. I use a strengths-based, supportive, and practical approach, designed to leave you feeling empowered, capable, and motivated to take your next step. Whether you’re a teenager choosing senior subjects, a student applying for your first job, or an adult exploring a career change, I provide professional, encouraging guidance to help you achieve your goals with confidence.

I believe that career coaching should feel practical, supportive, and confidence-building, not overwhelming. My approach is tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s choosing subjects at school, preparing for a first casual job, exploring traineeships or apprenticeships, or navigating a career change later in life.
My sessions are highly interactive, combining guided discussions, goal-setting exercises, and real-world resources such as resume practice, interview preparation, and pathway mapping. I use strengths-based strategies, which means I focus on building on what you already do well and helping you apply those skills to your next steps.
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, though I can adjust the length depending on need (for example, shorter sessions for younger students, or extended sessions for adults working on major career transitions).
I hold Diplomas in Counselling and Youth Work and have over 15 years of experience in education, community services, and youth development, including more than 7 years directly supporting students with career planning and wellbeing in schools.
My lessons are for high school students (Years 9–12), school leavers, university students, and adults who want clarity and direction in their career pathways. Whether you are applying for your first job, considering further study, or planning a career change, I provide personalised support to help you move forward with confidence.
