About Nell
I am a fully qualified teacher currently working as a supply primary teacher in Brighton and Hove.
I have experience in both KS1 and KS2. I am passionate to make the learning material accessible to all children by linking their learning to real life situations and building up their academic confidence.
I believe that mathematics is the language which surrounds us, which is why it is important to learn the mathematical processes through the use of representations and dialogue. I aim to reduce anxiety around mathematics by focusing on the process to get to an answer rather than the answer itself.
My mathematics specialisation allows me to have a deep understanding of the different ways to learn mathematics and the problem solving process.
Availability: evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
