About Sonia
My name is Sonia from Madrid (Spain).
I am a fully qualified Spanish teacher with more than seven years of experience helping young and adult people to improve their Spanish communicative skills. I teach at all levels, from primary education to university at home in London and on-line.
I am specialized in DELE preparation test (from A1 to C2) with supporting certificate of the most important Spanish as a Foreign Language institution (Instituto Cervantes).
My qualifications:
-Spanish Teacher Training - Spanish as a Foreign Language: levels A1-C2 by Instituto Cervantes.
-Master´s degree in Teaching in Secondary Schools by Rey Juan Carlos University (Qualified Teacher Certificate)
-BA Geography and History by National Distance University - Madrid.
-BA Media Communication by the Complutense University of Madrid.

I have an empathetic character and I am very patient with my pupils. I think that self-confidence and active communication are the most important things to learn a language. For this reason, I´ll encourage you to talk most the time while I correct your mistakes. In our classes, you also learn a lot of interesting things about Hispanic art, History, Geography and Literature, because I planned all my lessons around these topics. Of course, if you need to prepare the DELE test, I am here to help you. We will work all the necessary tips to be successful in this important prove.
Options
- Spanish for students: the training students need to be successful in the school where we will work Spanish contents up to KS5 A-level.
-Fully training for beginners: we will work on all the language skills to achieve basic knowledge.
-Conversation and pronunciation: we will concentrate our efforts in this important part of the language.
-DELE test preparation: all of our lessons will be focused on preparation for the official Spanish test (from A2 to C2).
-Spanish for business: if you are a professional and need to focus on a specified field, we will work hard this part at the same time you are improving the rest of the language skills.
