About Thomas
I am a head of science and experienced in teaching all major exam boards at GCSE and A-level. I have a first class degree in medical sciences and am consistently rated as good or excellent in professional practice. I quickly build a rapport with students and support them in improving their grade by up to three grade boundaries.

My teaching methodology is to use exam papers as a diagnostic tool. After completing this, I then reflect on areas for improvement with the student and work with them to address these. We then attempt another todo agnostic test. While not perhaps glamorous, educational research highlights the importance of recurrent testing and proves that this has a huge impact on students’ grades. It is an approach of marginal gains.
