As a dedicated healthcare professional with over 6 years of experience in paramedicine and nursing, as well as 2 years as a Cardiac Physiologist, I am deeply committed to sharing my knowledge and expertise with others. Having worked as an Acute Care Paramedic and Registered Nurse, I understand the complexities and challenges of these careers and know the importance of a strong foundational understanding combined with practical skills. In addition to my clinical experience, I have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Physiology, which has further enhanced my knowledge and expertise. As an academic sessional tutor at QUT in 2024, I gained hands-on experience helping students achieve their academic goals, particularly in the fields of nursing, paramedicine, and clinical physiology. With a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Paramedic Science, along with over 5 years of experience as an Acute Care Paramedic and 3 years as a Registered Nurse in Perioperative Care, I bring a wealth of hands-on knowledge to my tutoring. In addition, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Physiology and have worked for the past 2 years as a Cardiac Physiologist. In 2024, I had the opportunity to tutor as an Academic Sessional at the Queensland University of Technology, where I honed my ability to explain complex medical concepts in an accessible and engaging way. Although my current schedule has limited my availability to continue this role this semester, my experience ensures that students receive a high-quality learning experience. In addition to regular lessons, I am available to help with assignment preparation, exam review, and revision sessions. Whether you need support understanding specific topics, guidance on writing assignments, or focused preparation for upcoming exams, I offer tailored assistance to ensure you succeed.
