About Corrie

Graduating with a BS Computer Science from the University of Southern California provided the technical foundation for my current work. Teaching Python began as a side project but it rapidly became my full-time focus. I work with adults retraining for new roles and teenagers facing academic pressure.

My days are quite varied because I support many different types of learners. Supporting career switchers, bootcamp students, hobbyists, and CS students requires a very structured mindset.

I have guided over 200+ students through the process of writing their first scripts. My approach centers on moving from rough ideas to clean, readable code.

Skills like list comprehensions, control flow, and error handling are central to my instruction. I emphasize debugging and file handling to ensure code is robust. Maintaining a focus on data and automation scripting keeps the work grounded. It is just about getting the logic to click.

About the lesson

Code should solve problems rather than create new ones. I focus on practical application to make abstract concepts concrete for the student.

My sessions use a project-based framework to bridge the gap between theory and execution. We work through dictionaries, APIs, and pandas basics to build meaningful tools.

My 6 years of experience means I identify common stumbling blocks quickly. I keep instructions direct to help you avoid common pitfalls.

You will finish our time with a better grasp of how professional scripts function. My method relies on incremental progress toward complete automation. Expect a clear path forward.
