About Ethan
I am a neuroscience researcher and NYU Master's candidate in Psychology with a 3.9 GPA, specializing in neuropsychology and clinical neuroscience. My published research appears in peer-reviewed journals including Frontiers in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and I have presented my work at national conferences including the International Neuropsychological Society and the Cognitive Neuroscience Society. I collaborate with researchers at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and work clinically with neurological patient populations on a daily basis. Outside of research I am passionate about making neuroscience accessible and genuinely interesting to students who are encountering it for the first time as well as those looking to go deeper into the material.

I am a Master's candidate in Psychology at NYU with a 3.9 GPA and a published researcher in neuroscience and neuropsychology. I work as a Clinical Research Associate at a leading neurology practice in New York City, giving me hands-on clinical experience that I bring directly into my teaching. I specialize in neuroscience, neuropsychology, biological bases of behavior, and brain and behavior relationships, and I work with students at every level from introductory undergraduate courses through advanced graduate-level material. My approach is evidence-based and individualized. I focus on building genuine conceptual understanding rather than surface-level memorization, which is what actually translates to exam performance and long-term retention.
