About Amy
I have a BA in English from UGA with a focus on comparative literature. I am also a published author of short stories and one novel. For years, I have run a lively writers group of experienced authors and novices alike. I have also edited novels for a small independent publisher. My passion is helping writers find their voice and learn how to craft engaging stories.

Lessons will be crafted according to the student's specific goals as a writer.
I believe in learning through doing, so lessons will be writing-intensive and collaborative. The student may be asked to edit a piece written by someone else in order to learn what errors to look for in their own writing. There will be prompted writing assignments and suggested readings.
