About Bianca
I love literacy and have devoted my career to it! I hold a BA in English, with a focus in Creative Writing and a Masters in Teaching.
One of my greatest joys as an educator is not just helping students build their reading and writing skills but to also help them see themselves as competent, if not confident and enthusiastic, readers and writers.

My teaching method will be tailored to your or your students' needs. This would include a discussion around your goals, interests, and the foundational knowledge that you are bringing with you.
Depending on the level of reading and/or writing experience and goal, a pre-assessment may also be administered to pinpoint specific areas of strength and growth-points.
The bulk of my experience is in teaching school-age children literacy skills, but I have additional experience in tutoring college-level essay writing.
I am primarily offering my services online but am also willing to tutor in-person, at a public place, in Tacoma, WA.
Whether you are a parent looking to support your child with their overall literacy skills or a college student who needs feedback on an essay, I am excited to help you reach your goals!
