About Dr Karen

The most gratifying part of my whole career has been teaching and supporting learners both in clinical settings and in University. As a clinician I taught preregistration nursing students and post-registration public health nursing (health visiting) students. This led me into a career in Higher Education. I love teaching, particularly on a one-to-one basis where I can get to know the learner and tailor the learning to their individual needs

I have a Pg teaching qualification in health professional Education and 24 years University teaching experience. I am experienced in teaching Post grad health students in higher education and supervising Masters dissertations. I have a doctorate in Education. I am experienced in teaching online both UK and International students studying on Public Health and International Health Care Management courses.
