About
I am an undergraduate student at The University of Tennessee. I have lots of experience with English classes and skills. Prior to college I was able to obtain all of my English credits and have satisfied my English requirements for my undergraduate degree. I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students through an afterschool program. Through this I have developed my own lesson plans.

I approach my sessions depending on grade and current skill/knowledge. I start my elementary and middle school students with an evaluation of their grammar, syntax, and comprehension of texts. Based on the evaluation I focus on what the student needs the most help with and work up from there. For high schoolers lessons are based on what they may be doing in class ie; reading a book, practicing comprehension. I also review students' essays to get a better understanding of their writing mechanics.
