About Agnes
I was a retired lecturer who has tremendous teaching experience in Psychology. I have a PhD and BSc. (Hon) in Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Business (Project Management) and a Cert IV in Health Administration. I taught first-year psychology, developmental psychology, research methods and statistics, memory and cognition, and psychology of reading (e.g., neural basis on language acquisition). I also supervised students’ research projects and theses (both online and face-to-face supervision). I am good at guiding students on how to write essays, lab reports and research theses. I got the title one of the best 10 lecturers because I have good communication and presentation skills. In a multidisciplinary language acquisition project, I worked with 7 academics, and supervised 11 staff and 26 students from different disciplines to deliver research projects. I can use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SPSS and EndNote. I can multi-task, manage busy situations and build collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders. My supervisors commented that I am well-prepared and highly organized. I have excellent time management skills to produce high-quality work by deadline. I am hardworking and am a quick learner, have a keen eye for detail and strong sense of responsibility. I have the commitment to meet agreed objectives on own initiative. My academic and research background equips me with the ability to work independently or in a team, with minimal supervision.

I got the title one of the best 10 lecturers because I have good communication and presentation skills. I am systematic in presenting information, good at teaching generic skills and guiding students in doing their assignments. I would ask students about their aims in the future and mentor them in the right direction.
