About Antonia
I am currebtly studying Psychology at York St John University. I have had previous experience working in nursery's. I have also recently been involved in peer assisted support sessions for new students on my course. I have a passion for English that I would like to share with others.

The classroom is a dynamic environment, where I like to bring together students from different backgrounds with various abilities and personalities. I implement creative and innovative teaching strategies in order to meet students’ individual needs. I think it is important to give visual and practical learning experiences. Cooperative learning is very important as this enables students to verbally express their ideas and respond to others; developing their self-confidence, as well as enhancing communication and critical thinking skills which are vital throughout life. I also encourage students to ask questions and investigate their own ideas to help improve their problem-solving skills as well as gain a deeper understanding of academic concepts. Both of which are important life skills.

I think Antonia is a trustworthy tutor as I am her Mum. She is a totally selfless person and always put's other's needs before her own. She always has time to help her 14 year old sister with homework and to listen, talk to and advise her on anything, she is unsure of. Antonia did extremely well in her GCSE'S and A levels in English and English Literature, so is adequately qualified to teach this subject. I would definitely recommend her for this role. L Scott.
