About Haley
Hello! I hold a PhD in Psychology with a focus on applied research methods and evaluation, and I bring both academic teaching experience and real-world research experience to my tutoring. I have tutored high school and college students and served as a graduate teaching assistant for psychology statistics, research methods, ANOVA, regression, and evaluation courses.
Professionally, I lead evaluation and insights work, where I regularly apply statistics, research design, survey methodology, and data interpretation to real-world questions. I enjoy helping students build confidence with material that can initially feel overwhelming, especially statistics and research methods.
My goal is to create a supportive, patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing a deeper understanding of the material.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, course requirements, and current level of understanding. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on helping students understand the “why” behind concepts rather than simply memorizing information.
I can help with general psychology coursework, research methods, statistics, study design, interpreting research articles, academic writing, and research projects. For statistics and methods, I break complex concepts into manageable steps and use real examples to make the material easier to understand and apply.
I hold a PhD in psychology with a focus on applied research methods and evaluation, and I have experience tutoring high school and college students as well as serving as a graduate teaching assistant for psychology statistics, ANOVA, regression, research methods, and evaluation courses.
Lessons are appropriate for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, including students who feel intimidated by statistics or research methods and want patient, judgment-free support.
