About Isobel
All throughout high school I found myself forming study groups where more often than not I was attempting to help my peers with their homework. I am not claiming that I was a genius and at the time I made plenty of mistakes but one thing that has remained this whole time is my love for learning and helping others. The high school I attended, St Michaels Grammar School, emphasised the importance of caring for your fellow students with the upmost respect. As a now university student I find myself, of course, constantly learning more about these subject matters and gaining further passion and knowledge with each passing year that I would love to share with others!

I strongly believe that encouragement, warmth and positivity are the best way to teach. As a tutor I would be primarily working through the student's curriculum, identifying gaps in their knowledge and working together to fill in those gaps. Typically a lesson would be around 60 minutes in length although it is flexible depending on needs and schedules. Currently I am a psychology masters student. However, for my undergraduate degree I studied a Bachelor of Science which included biology and chemistry subjects throughout. I am happy to construct lessons for those from year 7 to year 12 of high school. I remember all too recently how easy it is to get stuck on one small topic matter and just need a little extra help to be able to fully comprehend it.
