About Mikayla
I decided to start tutoring because I genuinely love psychology and I want to stay connected to the subject during this stage of life (toddler chaos!), while also sharing what I’ve learned with others who may be feeling overwhelmed and need some support.

I have an Honours degree in Psychology and I’m currently offering tutoring on the side while raising my toddler. I’m doing this to stay connected to a subject I’m really passionate about, while also having the flexibility to be at home with my child.
My tutoring style is calm, patient, and supportive. I focus on breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense - I know lectures can be fast and you don’t get to have all your questions answered! Sometimes you need that one on one support to make study feel less overwhelming, and I aim to bring clarity and calm to my sessions.
