About Lucas
I am an 18-year-old prospective mathematics undergraduate at the University of Warwick. As someone who studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics at A level, I am predicted 4 x A*. I achieved grade 9s in GCSE maths and statistics despite studying GCSE statistics in a year without a teacher. Having finished 15th worldwide in season 3 of the Global Mental Calculators Association's calculation league, I am always fascinated by Mathematics as a subject.

Lessons offered for students between Year 9 and Year 13. I use a relaxed and supportive style of teaching that helps students feel comfortable and engaged as I believe this is the most effective way for students to learn. Lessons last one hour with an optional 5-minute break if desired. Lessons can focus on targeting weaker topics, learning new topics to get ahead or preparation for exams. I adapt each lesson to the student's current ability, preferred way of learning and goals, using past papers, practice questions and worked examples where appropriate. I am based in Oxted, Surrey and will offer both online and in-person tuition from July 24 onwards with the first lesson offered for free.
