About Callum
My passion for programming began when I first discovered how software applications are created through carefully structured code. I was fascinated by how logical instructions could be combined to produce tools that solve real-world problems. This interest led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and later complete a Master’s in Computer Science.
Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students who wanted to learn programming for academic study, career preparation, and personal development. Through teaching experience, I realized that many beginners feel uncertain when they encounter programming syntax and technical terminology. Because of this, I focus on simplifying explanations and guiding students through coding exercises step by step.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, experimentation, and logical understanding. I encourage students to test their ideas, analyze how programs behave, and learn from mistakes during the coding process. Helping learners gain confidence in programming and develop structured thinking skills is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my teaching work.

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand how computer programs are created using logical instructions and structured coding techniques. Programming is a valuable skill because it develops analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. In my lessons, I guide students through programming concepts gradually so they can understand how individual commands combine to create complete software solutions.
Lessons usually begin with the basic principles of programming such as variables, data types, and simple program structures. Students learn how programming languages allow them to communicate with computers and control program behavior using conditions and loops. These concepts help learners understand the logical structure behind coding and how programs respond to different inputs.
As students progress further, lessons expand into functions, arrays, object-oriented programming concepts, and debugging techniques. Students practice writing small programs that solve practical problems and learn how to identify and correct errors in their code. My goal is to help learners build strong programming foundations so they can confidently approach more complex software development challenges in the future..
