About Ariya
My interest in programming began during early computer science courses, which motivated me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Over 10 years, I have taught learners from beginners to advanced coders, providing structured guidance while encouraging experimentation and independent problem-solving. My teaching emphasises clarity, adaptability, and engagement, ensuring each student can progress confidently.
I focus on connecting theoretical concepts to practical applications, using examples, guided projects, and real-world coding scenarios. Lessons emphasise debugging, logical reasoning, and algorithmic thinking, allowing learners to build both knowledge and self-assurance. Step-by-step guidance ensures students develop solid foundations and problem-solving strategies.
Outside teaching, I explore new programming paradigms, frameworks, and languages to keep lessons current and relevant. Teaching programming is highly rewarding because I witness students transform from tentative beginners to confident coders capable of tackling complex challenges independently.

Lessons are customised according to each student’s background and goals. Beginners focus on understanding basic syntax, control flow, and problem decomposition. Intermediate learners expand to modular programming, algorithm optimisation, and complex project implementation. Advanced students engage in performance optimisation, APIs, and computational problem-solving for real-world applications. Stepwise feedback, practical exercises, and challenges ensure steady skill development and confidence.
Programming education with me develops creativity, logical reasoning, and computational thinking. Students learn to translate abstract ideas into functional software while gaining autonomy and analytical capabilities.
