About Zoya
My passion for programming started when I first discovered how code could turn simple ideas into working solutions. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, where I developed strong knowledge in software development, algorithms, and programming systems. During the past 8 years, I have guided students in building coding skills through patient explanation and practical learning methods.
I believe programming should feel creative and approachable instead of intimidating. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, structured exercises, and interactive coding practice that allows students to learn gradually and confidently. I encourage learners to understand why their code works rather than memorising patterns blindly. This helps students develop stronger analytical thinking and independent problem-solving ability over time.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring programming through personal coding projects, technology research, and software development trends. Staying engaged with modern technology helps me keep lessons relevant and practical for students. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping learners grow from uncertainty into confidence. My goal is always to support students in becoming skilled, curious, and independent thinkers in the world of technology.

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand how coding works through structured explanation, practical exercises, and real-world examples. I teach Python, Java, object-oriented programming, algorithms, debugging, and software logic in a supportive and beginner-friendly way. Students learn how to break complex problems into smaller logical steps so programming becomes easier to understand and apply confidently.
Lessons are adjusted carefully based on the student’s experience level and learning goals. Beginners focus on variables, loops, functions, and basic syntax, while advanced learners work on algorithms, project building, APIs, and optimisation techniques. I include hands-on coding exercises during every session because practical application helps students develop confidence more effectively. Students are encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and improve through guided correction and discussion.
I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore technology without fear or frustration. Many learners initially feel overwhelmed by programming concepts, so I focus on simplifying difficult topics into manageable ideas. As students progress, they become more confident in solving problems independently and building their own projects. My lessons help students strengthen logical thinking, creativity, and long-term confidence in coding.
