About Amy
My passion for programming started with fascination about building functional solutions from logic and creativity. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering, gaining expertise in coding, software design, and algorithm development. Over the past 10 years, I have guided learners of all levels, helping them build skills, confidence, and independence in programming through structured lessons, practical exercises, and project-based learning.
I teach through clear explanations, step-by-step exercises, and applied examples. Many learners initially struggle with logical structures, syntax, or algorithm design, so I emphasize iterative learning, guided practice, and problem-solving strategies. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s pace, style, and goals, fostering both technical mastery and creative thinking.
Outside teaching, I engage with programming projects, emerging technologies, and continuous learning to bring relevance and depth to my lessons. Teaching programming is highly rewarding because I witness students evolve from uncertainty to competence, developing confidence, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability. Supporting learners in becoming independent, skilled programmers is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Advanced learners work on complex algorithms, optimization, API integration, project planning, and software architecture, enhancing analytical skill, creativity, and independence. Lessons are tailored to student goals, experience, and preferred learning pace, ensuring steady progression and mastery.
Programming education also nurtures logical thinking, perseverance, and analytical reasoning.
