About Hazel
My journey in programming started with the fascination of transforming logical ideas into functional software. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Engineering followed by an M.Sc in Software Development, gaining expertise in programming languages, algorithms, and software project design. Over 10 years, I have guided students from foundational coding skills to advanced project work, fostering both technical competence and critical thinking.
I teach with clarity, patience, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to each student’s strengths and challenges. Using hands-on exercises, guided projects, and real-world examples, I encourage independent problem-solving and logical thinking. Lessons are interactive, iterative, and focused on nurturing confidence alongside skill development, empowering students to explore, experiment, and innovate.
Beyond the classroom, I stay engaged in emerging technologies, coding projects, and programming research, which enriches my teaching with current, real-world insights. Seeing students progress from uncertainty to skillful, independent programmers is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners in mastering both the technical and creative aspects of programming is the most fulfilling part of my work.

Computer programming is most rewarding when students understand how logical structures create powerful solutions. I teach programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, algorithms, object-oriented principles, data structures, and problem-solving strategies. Lessons include step-by-step guidance, hands-on coding, debugging exercises, and project-based learning, enabling students to strengthen both conceptual understanding and practical application. I aim to foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in programming while making lessons engaging, interactive, and personally relevant to each student’s goals.
Lesson plans are customized according to experience level. Beginners focus on basic syntax, loops, conditional logic, and function creation, building a strong foundation in coding. Intermediate learners tackle modular programming, debugging, algorithmic thinking, and small-scale project development, honing both skill and logical reasoning. Advanced learners work on complex systems, optimization, software design patterns, and large-scale projects to prepare for coding competitions, interviews, or professional programming careers. Each session balances explanation, hands-on practice, and reflective problem-solving exercises to promote mastery and independence.
Programming lessons also develop analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving, and perseverance. Students gain confidence in constructing code, interpreting outputs, and applying knowledge to real-world problems. My goal is to nurture learners into independent programmers capable of creative and efficient solutions, equipping them with the skills, mindset, and confidence to thrive academically and professionally.
