About Harper
My journey in programming began with curiosity about how logical instructions can be transformed into functional digital systems. I completed a B.Tech in Software Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in coding, algorithms, and structured problem-solving. Over the past 10 years, I have guided learners from beginner to advanced levels, helping them build mastery, independence, and confidence through patient and structured instruction. I teach with adaptability, clarity, and encouragement, tailoring explanations to each student’s pace and learning style using visual aids, pseudocode, and practical examples. I emphasize experimentation, critical thinking, and learning from mistakes, fostering curiosity and problem-solving resilience. Outside teaching, I continue to explore programming through projects, emerging technologies, and continuous learning. Teaching programming is immensely rewarding because I witness learners develop independence, logical reasoning, and confidence. Supporting their growth and problem-solving abilities is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Programming becomes approachable when learners are guided through clear explanations, structured reasoning, and practical exercises. My lessons cover programming fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving techniques, emphasizing understanding rather than memorization. I encourage experimentation, questions, and creative exploration in a supportive environment, allowing learners to gradually build confidence and mastery over coding skills.
Lesson content is tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on variables, loops, conditions, and basic program flow using hands-on exercises. Intermediate learners develop functions, debugging strategies, modular code structure, and organized programming practices. Advanced learners explore object-oriented programming, algorithm design, and small project development with structured guidance and constructive feedback. Carefully designed exercises reinforce knowledge and strengthen problem-solving skills.
Programming lessons also cultivate patience, resilience, and analytical thinking. As learners witness their code functioning correctly, they gain confidence in their logical and technical abilities. My goal is to help students feel capable, motivated, and independent in their programming journey.
