About Abigail
I hold a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering from international universities. With 10 years of teaching experience, I have helped students from diverse backgrounds build strong coding foundations and confidence in logical reasoning. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, adaptability, and encouragement. I break down complex programming concepts into simple steps and adjust explanations based on each learner’s pace. I prioritise understanding and independent thinking over memorisation. Outside teaching, I stay connected to programming through personal projects, continuous learning, and exploring emerging technologies. My programming lessons focus on helping students understand how logical thinking turns into functional code. I teach programming concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, functions, and algorithms using clear explanations and structured practice. Lessons emphasise understanding why code works, not just how to write it. Students learn in a supportive environment where experimentation and mistakes are encouraged. Beginners are guided through fundamentals with patience and clarity. Intermediate learners strengthen debugging skills, modular design, and structured problem-solving. Advanced students work on algorithm efficiency, project planning, and exam or interview preparation. Hands-on exercises and guided corrections help learners build confidence steadily. Programming lessons also develop resilience, creativity, and analytical thinking. As students see their ideas come to life through code, they gain confidence and independence. Many learners begin to enjoy problem-solving rather than fearing it. My goal is to help students feel empowered by technology and confident in their ability to learn, adapt, and create meaningful digital solutions.
