About Raghav
I hold an MSc in Advanced Computing and have 8 years of experience teaching programming to aspiring developers and technology enthusiasts. My interest in computing began with a fascination for how software can transform ideas into useful tools and solutions. This passion eventually led me into advanced study and a rewarding teaching career.
Over the years, I have worked with students learning programming for academic purposes, career development, and personal interest. I believe that successful programming education requires patience, adaptability, and practical application. My lessons focus on helping learners understand concepts deeply while building confidence through consistent practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring emerging software technologies, studying programming frameworks, and developing personal coding projects. Staying engaged with the technology field helps me bring current knowledge into lessons and keep learning experiences relevant. Helping students discover their potential and build strong programming skills remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession.

Programming becomes much more approachable when students understand the logic behind code rather than focusing only on syntax. My lessons help learners build strong foundations in programming by exploring concepts such as algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, software design, debugging, and application development. I emphasise problem-solving and logical thinking so students can understand how different pieces of code work together to create functional solutions.
Lessons are designed around the learner’s goals and level of experience. Beginners develop confidence through simple coding exercises and foundational concepts, while advanced learners explore optimisation strategies, project architecture, and software development practices. Through practical projects, coding challenges, and guided feedback, students gain valuable hands-on experience that strengthens both understanding and technical skill.
I believe programming is a skill best learned through active practice and experimentation. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, making mistakes, and learning from them. As learners gain experience, they develop the confidence needed to tackle increasingly complex programming challenges.
