About Alex
I have a lot of experience communicating in English with non-native speakers, which has developed my ability to spot common mistakes which impact fluency, from the most basic to the very nuanced. I understand how essential English is as a global language in today's world, and I am passionate about passing on my native ability to dedicated students. I wish to prioritise one-on-one conversation to build the pupils confidence and will seek pass on my enthusiasm during these interactions. I always want my pupils to feel like they can communicate in English, no matter their level.

I will have a 10 minute interactive starter in place which will encourage the student to express themselves in English with the words and phrases learnt in the previous lesson. I will then discuss with the student about how their English lessons at school have been going since our last session to ensure that I am giving them support tailored to their most pressing needs. Based on this interaction, I would introduce some of my own prepared material for the remainder of the lesson. A typical lesson would last one hour long in total. I have over 60 lessons experience teaching foreign languages.
