About Luan Martins
I hold a degree in Geography and am currently studying Speech Therapy. I have over 10 years of experience and a passion for sharing my knowledge about the singing voice. I have worked professionally as a Popular Singing Teacher since 2017, teaching various age groups and musical genres. My work focuses on vocal perception with an emphasis on conditioning the laryngeal muscle structures; maintaining vocal health; vocal adjustments; and respiratory control.

METHODOLOGY: We begin with a therapeutic warm-up for muscle relaxation and a series of vocal warm-ups tailored to your voice type and musical genres – lasting up to 15 minutes. You sing from the first lesson – a cappella or with instrumentals; if you are a musician, bring your instrument, it will be very welcome! The lessons go beyond vocal aesthetics in Popular Singing; I analyze your orofacial function – tongue, lips, teeth, and cheeks – and phonetic language (diction) and pneumophonoarticulatory conditions. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: - Singing and Vocal Direction Teacher in a recording studio. - Speech Therapy student at Veiga de Almeida University. - Singing Teacher, with emphasis on laryngeal muscle conditioning, vocal adjustments and techniques, and vocal health. - I was a Popular Singing Professor at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). MUSICAL GENRES I WORK WITH MOST: Brazilian - MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), Samba, Gospel and Rock; International - Pop, Indie, Black Music (R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz, Blues).

Conheci Luan na UFRRJ quando ele dava aulas de canto pelo Centro de Artes e Cultura para alunos tanto da faculdade quanto da cidade onde nós localizávamos fazendo um trabalho incrível onde ele nos ensinava técnicas vocais, de respiração, de expansão de voz, sempre respeitando o estilo de cada aluno e buscando nos ajudar a alcançar nosso potencial, de forma a nos dar confiança até pra nos apresentar na frente da comunidade acadêmica! Ou seja, Luan é incrível e escolher ele como seu professor vai ser a peça que faltava pra você alcançar o seu máximo potencial! Pode confiar!
Trata-se de um cantor incrível e um professor maravilhoso que usa toda a sua experiência e amor pelo canto para ensinar . Eu super recomendo as aulas dele são ótimas e é impossível n evoluir com ele.
