About Victoria
Hello, my name is Victoria. I am from Chile and my grandmother used to teach pedagogy at Universidad de Chile. From a very early age, I learned the importance of knowledge and how methodology is needed for it to be shared and comprehended.
I love nature, traveling, hanging out with friends, and learning. Likewise, I'm passionate about knowledge. I am researching sustainable settlements, and I spent the last two years visiting places around the world with interesting green features.
I studied in a German School, where I did my major studies for the IB Diploma in Literature and Languages, German and English, and my minors in Mathematics Studies, Physic, History and Art.
I always had excellent grades and helped my brother and friends with their studies. In eighth grade, I started working as a tutor. I went to many math Olympics in high school and also participated in karate, gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, and hockey tournaments.
I graduated with distinction from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, obtaining a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a diploma in Structural Civil Engineering. Furthermore, I developed my career linked to sustainability, teaching and developing courses at the Institute for Sustainable Development. In the Institute learned active teaching methodologies and received formation as a facilitator. I run workshops as En-ROADS Climate Ambassador, where you can try different measures to mitigate the effects of global warming.
