About Stéphane
I´ve been teaching French as a foreign language for ten years. I like this job because it makes me travel between various cultures and gives me the opportunity to meet a lot of different people. I started to teach to migrants in France, then to children and teenagers in Bulgaria, finally to adults in Mexico, then in France again and Germany where I taught french in various companies.

In my course, the most important is that my students speak and use target language: expressions and vocabulary that I give them. The acquisition of grammar is done intuitively. I teach according to the communicative and action-oriented methods. Communicative because the learner has a talk time greater than the teacher, because action-specific situations are presented and the learner is required to solve tasks, perform action. Learning is therefore cognitively, by deduction and association of words and ideas. Learning performative verbs to enter immediately in the French language by immersing themselves in dailylife situations. My course has three phases: presentation, practice and production. The first gives a new vocabulary or expressions field, the second is for that the learner can re-use them, the third gives a long time to the learner to imagine a new situation and produce himself new phrases. At this linguistic work I add an artistic dimension and / or cultural using my knowledge of art history and theater practice.
