About John
As a self taught Engineer, I've had the privilege of learning every bit of my skillset in the field from some of the best engineers in the world. Many have worked or toured with acts such as Chris Rock, Sum 41, Whiskey Meyers, Los Lonley Boys, The Black Pumas, My Bloddy Valentine and more.
As a producer, Ive had the drive to self teach production over thousands of hours of trial and error, developing a process that works smoothly and consistantly. I've spent nearly ten years making miatakes, so hopefully you wont have to.

Look no further. Over the past 9 years I've self produced as many EP's of sample based instrumental hip-hop in the vein of J-Dilla, Nujabes and Vanilla. Over the past 3 years I've worked professionally as a live audio engineer, mixing and building shows as small as an intimate wedding and as large as well known festivals such as Luck Reunion, SXSW, Austin Psych Fest, and Austin City Limits.
These tutoring sessions are ultimately about you, and I strive to talor each meeting to your skill level and desired set of topics.
