Béatrice is an incredible teacher, professional, warm, experienced, and fun. My 5-year-old absolutely loves her classes and looks forward to them every time. She is wonderfully versatile and knows exactly how to adapt her teaching to keep lessons engaging, enjoyable, and confidence-building. Béatrice is a fantastic teacher and coach. My musicality and discipline to the craft of singing has grown phenomenally with Béatrice over the past 2 years. Her experience as a professional singer and her genuine love of teaching supports me to focus on where I am now and also to dream where I could be in the future. I have had 3 successful auditions which has resulted in me securing leading roles with full orchestras - Pamina, Magic Flute, 1st lady Magic Flute and Olympia, Tales of Hoffman as well as recitals and paid performances at public celebrations. I can actually sing decent coloratura now - something I never thought was possible for me. My voice goes higher and bright (I never knew it was in there!) and my lower register is becoming better rounded and taken care of. Beatrice takes your learning seriously and will support you to take yourself seriously. She will challenge you with respect. She is also warm, kind and very funny - which is not a guarantee with a music tutor. I am a more confident human as well as a more confident singer because of Béatrice. She creates a brave space for you to focus on your technique, your musicality as well as your spirit. She never compromises technique with the joy of the piece - she calls attention to both. Every lesson with her I feel grateful she wants me to be her student - she is the real deal.
