About Shifra
I have been freelance tutoring for math, english, and SAT/ACT material since I was 16. I study Business Analytics and Music Technology at Rutgers Business School– New Brunswick. During my first semester there I also worked as a professional tutor at Mathnasium. I love to help my students understand new concepts, and my overarching goal is to show them they can succeed in all their endeavors.

My approach to tutoring is to explain new concepts in a way that my student will understand. That means taking note of how they talk and process information, as well as framing the subject in relatable terms. Everyone thinks differently, and I have learned so much from teaching students who expand my mind with their unique thought processes.
