About Ellis
I am a certified swimming instructor with years of hands-on experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels across Florida. My background includes formal training in water safety, lifeguarding, and stroke technique, and I hold relevant certifications that ensure every lesson is conducted safely and professionally. I am passionate about making swimming accessible and enjoyable for everyone, from young children taking their first steps in the water to adults overcoming a fear of swimming later in life. My approach is patient, structured, and always student-focused. I believe that every person can learn to swim with the right guidance, encouragement, and environment. Outside of teaching, I am continually updating my knowledge and methods to provide the best possible experience for my students. My sessions cover water safety, breathing techniques, stroke development, and endurance in a supportive, encouraging environment. I work with children, teenagers, and adults alike, and every lesson plan is adapted to the individual student. No two learners are the same, and my teaching reflects that.
