About Elsa
Hola! I'm Elsa from Barcelona. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Modern Foreign Languages, specialising in Spanish and French, and I am a qualified secondary school teacher. I’ve always had a passion for languages and travelling. I previously studied Network Telecommunications Engineering in Barcelona, which has given me a structured and analytical approach to teaching while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable.
I’m a native speaker of both Spanish and Catalan, and I also speak English, Italian, and French. I’ve worked as a private tutor in Barcelona for 5 years, teaching a wide range of subjects, from mathematics and Spanish to chemistry.

For students preparing for GCSE and A-level exams, I provide targeted lessons focused on the key skills and materials needed to excel in these exams. We’ll work through past papers, exam techniques, and the core components of the curriculum to ensure you’re fully prepared and confident on exam day.
The pace of each lesson is adapted to ensure you feel comfortable and motivated. I prioritize creating a positive, interactive environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable. We’ll use materials like videos, articles, and visual aids to make the language come alive, and you’ll develop both speaking and listening skills through dynamic practice.
Together, we’ll explore the logic behind the language, and I’ll offer personalized advice to enhance your pronunciation. My lessons are conducted online and in person near Kennington, offering flexibility for you to learn from any location that suits you.
