About Benjamin
For the past 15 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching Spanish to High School and College students with patience and enthusiasm. I have successfully worked with around 150 students and have enjoyed supporting them as they achieved their learning goals. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while helping students build valuable communication skills.
My teaching philosophy is based on personalized instruction and practical learning. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual abilities and learning styles. My classes develop grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through interactive exercises, conversations, and real-world examples.
I believe regular feedback and revision are important for long-term success. Students receive guidance throughout every stage of their learning journey, allowing them to build confidence while improving steadily. Cultural discussions also help learners appreciate Spanish beyond grammar and vocabulary.
One of my greatest achievements has been helping students gain confidence and improve their academic performance. Seeing learners become comfortable communicating in Spanish reminds me why I enjoy teaching.
My classroom is built on patience, respect, and encouragement. I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel motivated to learn, grow, and achieve success in Spanish.

My teaching methodology is designed to help students develop confidence through creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability. I believe Spanish should be learned through meaningful communication, consistent practice, and active participation rather than memorization alone.
Each lesson is carefully adapted to the student's needs and learning goals. I use conversations, storytelling, role plays, games, pronunciation practice, authentic resources, videos, reading comprehension, listening activities, and writing exercises to improve every language skill.
Critical thinking is developed by encouraging students to recognize grammar patterns, understand vocabulary through context, and create original conversations using their own ideas. This approach helps learners become independent and confident language users.
As a mentor, I provide encouragement, patience, and continuous guidance. I create a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and improving with confidence.
Accountability is included through clear lesson objectives, structured practice, progress evaluations, regular revision, and personalized feedback after every lesson. Students stay motivated because they can clearly see their development.
Besides Spanish, I teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary building, conversation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, listening practice, beginner Spanish, travel Spanish, DELE preparation, and Hispanic culture. My aim is to help every learner become fluent, confident, and prepared to communicate naturally in Spanish wherever they go.
