About Mary
With 10 years of experience as a Singing tutor, I have helped numerous students discover their musical talents and improve their vocal abilities. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who want to strengthen their singing skills, boost their confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of music.
My teaching style is supportive, flexible, and student-centred. Every learner has different goals and learning preferences, so I adapt my methods to suit their individual needs. This personalised approach allows students to learn effectively while enjoying the process.
My classes include breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, pitch correction, rhythm training, voice projection, diction, vocal expression, and stage confidence. Through guided practice, interactive activities, and performance opportunities, students gain valuable experience and confidence. Continuous feedback helps them achieve steady progress.
Along with Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, Song Interpretation, and Performance Skills. These complementary subjects help students become more complete musicians and enhance their overall performance abilities. I also provide guidance on vocal care and productive practice habits.

My teaching methodology for Singing is designed to prepare students for real-world performances through flexibility, creativity, understanding, and time management. I believe that technical skills and performance confidence should develop together.
I begin by identifying each student's goals and current skill level. This allows me to create personalised lessons that address specific needs while encouraging long-term growth.
Creativity keeps students motivated and engaged. I use song interpretation, performance simulations, listening exercises, and vocal training activities to make learning practical and meaningful.
My lessons focus on breath control, pitch development, rhythm, diction, vocal projection, tone quality, emotional expression, and stage presence. Students learn techniques that help them perform confidently and effectively.
Understanding and encouragement help create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their abilities.
Time management ensures that lessons remain organised and productive. Every session includes warm-ups, technical development, song work, and performance preparation.
Besides Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Care, Sight Singing, and Performance Coaching. My objective is to help students become confident performers and skilled vocalists.
