About Alessia
With 10+ years of experience as a singer and musician, Alessia is a trained vocalist, performer, songwriter and music graduate with a genuine passion for helping others discover their voice and confidence through music.
She holds a degree in Music Performance and Production from the London College of Contemporary Music and has extensive experience performing live with bands and orchestras, as well as writing, recording and releasing her own music. Her experience as both a performer and songwriter allows her to bring a practical and creative approach to teaching.
Alessia is particularly passionate about contemporary singing, Pop and Soul, and loves helping students develop their own unique sound. Whether you're completely new to singing or looking to take your skills further, she aims to create a relaxed, supportive and enjoyable environment where every student can feel comfortable, make progress and have fun with music.

About the lessons:
My lessons are designed to be fun, encouraging and personalised to each student. Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your singing technique, build confidence, learn your favourite songs or develop your performance skills, we will work at a pace that suits you and your goals.
I specialise primarily in singing lessons, alongside beginner piano, and teach children, teenagers and adults. With a background in contemporary music performance and production, as well as experience performing with bands and orchestras, writing and recording music, and performing live, I combine practical performance experience with a strong focus on healthy vocal technique.
Singing lessons:
Depending on your goals, lessons can include:
Vocal warm-ups and technique
Breath control and support
Pitch and vocal accuracy
Developing vocal range
Resonance, tone and vocal control
Contemporary techniques such as belting
Singing with confidence and expression
Performance and stage skills
Learning and interpreting songs
Preparing for auditions or performances
Pop, Soul and contemporary repertoire
I want students to develop their own unique voice, rather than trying to sound like someone else. We can work on songs by your favourite artists while using them to develop your technique and musicality.
Beginner piano lessons:
For beginner pianists, lessons can cover:
Basic piano technique and coordination
Chords and chord progressions
Learning songs
Playing and singing at the same time
Basic music reading
Music theory fundamentals
Accompaniment skills
What happens in a lesson?
We will usually begin with a warm-up or technical exercise before moving onto the main focus of the lesson. This could be working on a particular vocal technique, learning a song, improving a section you find difficult, or preparing for a performance.
Lessons are always adapted to you — your experience, musical interests and goals. I want you to leave each lesson feeling that you have learned something useful, made progress and enjoyed making music.
Your first lesson is also a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss what you would like to achieve and establish a personalised approach for future lessons.
Where and when?
Lessons are available Monday to Friday, primarily mornings and afternoons, with some evening and weekend availability depending on my performance schedule.
Lessons can take place at my home or your home within a reasonable distance of SE1, subject to availability, or online via Zoom or the MusicTeachers Online Classroom. An additional travel fee may apply for home visits.
