About Liam
I am a professional saxophone tutor with 15 years of experience working with college students. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clarity, and musical growth. I design lessons that are easy to understand, engaging, and goal-oriented.
Students learn tone control, breath management, finger technique, rhythm accuracy, and expressive performance. I also introduce improvisation to build creativity and confidence. Practical music examples help students connect exercises with real playing situations.
I use modern teaching tools such as recording sessions, play-along tracks, and structured practice plans to make learning effective. I also teach music theory, ear training, and sight-reading to support complete musical development.

My Saxophone teaching methodology focuses on long-term musical growth. I start by building strong basics such as breath control, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, and tone development. These skills are taught patiently and clearly.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, exploring melodies, and learning music students enjoy. I act as a mentor by supporting students and helping them build confidence. Critical thinking is developed by teaching students how to understand rhythm, scales, and musical structure.
Accountability is encouraged through practice routines, clear goals, and regular assessments. Students learn responsibility and consistency. In addition to Saxophone, I teach Music Theory, Rhythm Practice, Ear Training, and Performance Skills.
