About Gabriel
I am a full-time audio engineer and music producer with over 25 years of experience. I have worked in most genres of music, including classical, jazz, rock, pop, hip hop, and more. I also frequently work on podcasts, TV and film programs, etc. I have worked with several GRAMMY-winning and #1-selling artists. Other clients include Spotify, NPR, PBS, and numerous record labels. My technical specialties include: live recording in the digital and analog domains, audio mixing and editing (particularly in Logic Pro), and song production.

I base my approach on the individual interests and needs of the student, as professional audio is a very broad field. In additional to technical aspects, I also work to develop the student's creativity and musical knowledge. While helpful, interested students do not need to have experience as a musician.

Details
Students should possess or be prepared to purchase a computer with recording software (Logic Pro or Pro Tools suggested; the free programs Garageband, Reaper, and/or Audacity will do, however!), an audio interface, and at least one semi-professional microphone (we can discuss this at your first lesson).
If the student misses a lesson, they will have the option of rescheduling within the following 2 weeks. If the instructor must miss a lesson, it will be rescheduled for a mutually-agreeable time.
