About DENILLE
I have a Bachelor of Music degree with majors in piano performance and music education. I had training in Suzuki method and piano pedagogy. I have taught piano for 25 years and I had experiences in group music teaching, choral conducting, piano accompaniment and music arranging.

Method: For kids, "pouring in"; and for adults, "drawing out"
Children: Suzuki method; RCM curriculum or traditional method
Children ages 4 to 10 years must be supervised by the parent. Teacher, child and parent form a triangle in the music learning process. All three people are needed to attain success in music lessons. The teacher gives knowledge and expertise, the parent is the home teacher and supports the child and teacher, and the child contributes learning abilities and interest in music.
I believe in Suzuki philosophy "Most of the musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential of every child is unlimited". Therefore any child can learn music and develop musical talent.
Teenagers and Adult: "Drawing out" method
A. Direct students to a personal goal of learning piano ( e.g. church pianist, classical pianist, keyboardist)
B. Discuss methods, piano scores, repertoire for performance and genre or periods ( classical music)
C. Teach or correct rudiments in a piano lessons- correct notes, rhythm and fingering.
D. Add theory, analysis and understanding to the repertoire
D. Execute proper dynamics, pedalling, techniques, musical style and interpretation of the musical score.
E. Performance - I encourage the student to perform in public or small gathering.
