Sunanda had a very humble beginning as a photographer. In the beginning of his career he used a borrowed Nikon analog camera. He is self taught and extremely motivated. When he started giving me lessons in photography in college I was just an young enthusiast without any concrete idea about whether to pursue photography as a career or not. But he had seen something in me and used to encourage me and even broke the sacramental rule of not lending his camera to anyone- I was the only proud borrower of that old but beautiful machine. I owe my love for photography to him and his lessons.
