About Christina
With over 15+ years of dance experience, I am trained in foundational ballet, jazz, and contemporary fusion styles. I currently train within jazz and contemporary fusion styles, heels and burlesque. My personal style is eccentric and evocative. It ignites me to push artistic boundaries and go outside the box!
I have recently co-directed a performance piece that was featured at Art Basel in Miami, and was in Paper Magazine, mentioned for my dance performance with musical artist Von. I am also currently producing a monthly burlesque event!
I love to focus on expression, performance, and storytelling. This includes how we relate to our own movement and how we can explore the depths of our emotions through a phrase while connecting with an audience.
With both my competitive dance experience and my studied expertise in psychology (B.S), I'm interested in diving beneath the surface. As we learn new ways of expression, we can relate and navigate the world around us with more intention and understanding. My hope is to give you some tools to foster your most creative self!

Whether we are exploring dance, burlesque, performance or movement, my lessons are completely student focused! Lessons are individually tailored to the students skill level and personal interests within dance and performance!
My dance lessons will include:
- Warm-up with some strength training.
- Self-inquiry through different mindfulness exercises.
- Prompted improvisation (freestyle).
- And then we get to learn a bit of choreography!
During the lesson, we will go over technique but more importantly, we will get comfortable with feeling empowered and embodied through our movement.
Burlesque lessons also include a warm-up, some performance acting improv, tips and tricks for show-stopping moves. We will take our time exploring sensual expression and put together some choreography. Burlesque lessons 18+ only.

Christina was a great instructor, she helped me break out of my shell and feel comfortable in my own skin.
