I am the pianist for some of Katharina's performance classes, and experiencing the way she works is inspirational. She is able to identify whatever will unlock the singer's connection with the aria or song they are singing, and watching the performer then inhabit the music and establish a powerful connection with the audience is a joy. Katharina also teaches the singers to collaborate in a meaningful way with the pianist, and so working with her is rewarding and always a privilege.

Katharina also provides valuable experience for her students through performance opportunities such as the chance to participate in regular masterclasses at the beautiful Madingley Hall, which not only offer students a chance to perform in a nurturing environment, followed by 30 minutes of coaching in front of a small audience, but showcase the effects of techniques and practices taught in lessons through watching the classes Katharina gives to other students.
