Hi! I'm Brian, a Music Producer & Audio Engineer with 10+ years running my own commercial studio, working with diverse artists across NY & NJ.
SPECIALTY: Electronic Dance Music & Multi-Genre Beatmaking (Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B, Indie).
WHAT I TEACH: Production, Mixing & Mastering (Logic Pro & Ableton Live) as well as vocal tracking, DJing and Piano (10+ years teaching experience).

Production & Beatmaking (Ableton Live): Master DAW workflow, MIDI/audio manipulation, sample chopping, sound design, track arrangement, song structuring and more skills necessary to create a song from scratch to end.
Music Theory & Composition: Write memorable melodies, understand chord progressions, design driving basslines, and build complete song structures.
Vocal Production & Recording: Home setup, microphone selection, vocal tracking, comping, pitch correction, dynamic processing, and placing vocals in the mix.
Mixing & Mastering: Signal flow, frequency balance, EQ, compression, spatial effects, and final polish.

Hi everyone I’m Lamont. Brian’s knowledge and talents as a teacher and musician are exquisite. He is kind, patient, and very professional.
Brian is hands down the best piano teacher I’ve ever had. He makes everything simple, the theory actually makes sense, and his way of explaining things in practice makes learning so much easier.
After struggling with other teachers, I honestly started wondering if I was just a terrible student. But Brian could probably teach a chimpanzee to play Mozart.
