I have a master's in general and special education. I have worked with students with diverse learning needs (gifted, dyslexia, ADHD, executive function challenges, etc.). I have never met a student I didn't connect with and love puzzling out the ideal learning plan for a student.

My guiding approach is helping kids become independent learners--this means fostering true conceptual understanding (as opposed to just memorized formulas). I have been tutoring for 10 years and have a knack for uncovering how a student learns best and tailoring the content to their unique style.
